Welcome to AZAREL.  This is the web site for Tim Aikens, independent business change consultant.  The web site describes what I do and the principles behind the way I go about helping my clients generate lasting beneficial transformation.

 

 In the course of my career, I have tackled many projects to change or transform businesses, from restructuring a national oil company prior to part privatization, to helping a publicly owned leisure centre become financially independent and free from subsidy ( see Case Studies)

I am a chartered Civil Engineer, and I also have two post graduate degrees in Management and Organisational Behaviour.  My consulting pedigree comes from working for companies such as PA Consulting Group and Arthur D. Little.

Achieving successful and sustaining transformation is rarely easy.  In 2009 as the world enters a long downturn (I won’t use the ‘R’ word!) very few of us will be immune from the need to change.  Yet now, more than ever, survival and success in a weak  economy will belong to those who grasp the need for change and then do it . . . . . .and make it last!
